MILOS Goes One Step Beyond: SEL Live Invests in Custom Keder Tech Sheds for their MR2K Roof System For Madness Headliner in Abbey Park
SEL Live has further strengthened its staging and structures inventory with an investment in custom designed MILOS Keder Tech Sheds, an addition to their MILOS MR2K 12 x 10 mtr roof system, enhancing production flexibility and operational efficiency for festivals, concerts, and live events across the UK.
The new technical shed configuration made its debut at Abbey Park in Leicester mid June, where the MILOS MR2K roof system formed the centrepiece of the main stage for a major weekend of live entertainment headlined by legendary ska band Madness. The event welcomed thousands of music fans and showcased the latest evolution of SEL Live's growing structures portfolio.

The investment reflects SEL Live's continued commitment to delivering high-performance staging solutions capable of meeting the increasing technical demands of modern live productions. Designed to integrate seamlessly with the MILOS MR2K structure, the Keder Tech Sheds provide dedicated weather-protected space for production equipment and backstage operations while maintaining a clean, professional stage aesthetic.
The MILOS MR2K has become a key asset within SEL Live's inventory, offering a low-profile keder canopy design, versatile rigging capabilities and rapid deployment characteristics. The roof system's horizontal truss grid configuration provides extensive rigging opportunities for lighting, audio and video systems while complying with the latest requirements.
Investing in the custom MILOS Keder Tech Sheds was a natural progression for the full MR2K package.  As productions continue to evolve, clients expect greater technical infrastructure, improved workflow and enhanced protection for equipment which this delivers. The addition of the tech sheds offers a more complete and versatile staging solution while maintaining the speed and efficiency build that the MR2K is known for.
The Abbey Park weekend event provided an ideal launch platform for the new configuration. SEL Live delivered full production support, including staging, rigging, lighting, video and audio, with the MR2K roof structure serving as the focal point for a programme of live performances culminating in a headline appearance from Madness.
Bob Watson, Managing Director at SEL Live said: "We're always looking for ways to level up the experience for our bands and customers. This new system, co-designed with Area Four Industries UK, achieves exactly that, taking our stage to the next level.”

The investment follows a busy festival season for SEL Live, during which the company has deployed the MILOS MR2K across a diverse range of events nationwide, which continues throughout the summer. The system's modular design, substantial loading capacity and adaptability have made it a popular choice for both touring festivals and standalone outdoor concerts.
As demand for premium outdoor event infrastructure continues to grow, SEL Live's latest investment reinforces the company's position as one of the UK's leading providers of staging, structures and technical production services.
